Cascade Cancer Center has been proud to offer the highest quality cancer care to the Eastside community since 1996. Cascade focuses on specialty care in medical oncology and hematology, and also offers routine infusion services.
Cascade Cancer Center is the primary oncology provider for Evergreen Healthcare, a health-care system based at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center, a regional community hospital that serves the greater Eastside and surrounding areas. Cancer care is one of the hospital’s key services.
Oncology care today requires a multidisciplinary approach. Our medical oncologists participate in the Evergreen Tumor Board where individual cases are collectively reviewed by radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, and medical oncologists. Our oncologists collaborate with a wide array of medical providers on the Eastside, as well as throughout the greater Seattle area to optimize the care of each patient.
Cascade Cancer Center is also a member of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) network of healthcare providers. This network affiliation with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, the University of Washington Medical Center and Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center - the three parent organizations of the SCCA - facilitates access to clinical trials so patients who live on the Eastside can enroll in innovative SCCA-sponsored studies and still receive treatment nearby. By affiliating with the SCCA, Cascade Cancer Center brings the only federally-designated comprehensive cancer center in the Northwest to the Eastside community.
When diagnosed with cancer, everyone wants the highest quality treatment. Most people also prefer to stay close to home in a comfortable, familiar environment with easy and convenient access to care. Cascade Cancer Center in Kirkland offers leading-edge cancer care to the local Eastside community. Cascade Cancer Center gives you the best of both worlds – care in your own community by skilled and dedicated oncologists, nurses and staff, plus easier access to the resources of the SCCA and its parent organizations.
